Wyatt Robert Barr, age 14, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
Born in Joppatowne, Maryland, he was the beloved son of Michelle Diane Losh and John Leonard Barr.
In addition to his parents, Wyatt is survived by his loving sister, Megan Barr; his good friend, Dorian Bainbridge; his godparents, Tricia and Jimmy Madden; his aunt, Lisa Losh; his uncle, Ricky Losh; his aunt, Lisa Benda; his uncle, Joey Benda; his grandparents, Pat and Rick Losh; his grandparents, John and Beverly Barr; and many great aunts, uncles, and friends.
Wyatt was a student at Harford Technical High School, where he was enrolled in the automotive diagnostic system repair program. He had already begun pursuing his passion for mechanics, working as a helper at Kenwood Systems Diesel shop. Wyatt truly enjoyed all aspects of mechanical work and had a deep love for cars, always dreaming of owning a C4 Corvette one day.
He loved being active and creative, often riding his bike and taking it apart to upgrade it. Wyatt enjoyed attending car shows anywhere within driving distance and made it a tradition to go with his family every Sunday to Bel Air Cars and Coffee. He also found joy in building model cars and collecting tools, and he especially enjoyed browsing stores like Harbor Freight, Home Depot, and Bass Pro Shop.
Wyatt had a playful and imaginative spirit. He loved Legos and proudly had a Lego city set up in his living room. He had recently begun learning to play the acoustic guitar through his program at Harford Tech. He also enjoyed playing baseball with his sister Megan, his friend Dorian, and his dad.
In his downtime, Wyatt enjoyed playing video games, especially Roblox and BeamNG Driving. He loved fishing with his Uncle Joey and his dad, and he had a growing passion for photography. Above all, Wyatt shared an incredibly close bond with his sister, Megan, who was his best friend, and they spent much of their time together. Wyatt will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, including his beloved seahorse.
