Wilson Bradford Grace Jr.

July 13, 1942 — January 10, 2007

WILSON BRADFORD “BRAD” GRACE JR., age 64, of Edgewood, MD died on January 10, 2007, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. He was a lifelong resident of Harford County, where he resided with his loving wife of 46 years, Darlene C. Maners Grace of Edgewood, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Lillian Marie Jordan Kilby of Aberdeen, MD, and the late Wilson Bradford Grace Sr. He retired from Safeway Food Stores after 35 years. He was a member of the Northeastern Maryland Officials Association, umpired for Harford County Parks and Recreation, as well as, high school and college softball all over Maryland. He coached for Harford County Parks and Recreation, Harford Community College, girls softball and basketball at Edgewood High School and girls softball at Fallston High School. He was an avid hunter and waterman and enjoyed all sports, especially NASCAR. He enjoyed attending the Iron Bird Games. He was a volunteer at the Ripken Museum in Aberdeen, MD. He was adored by his faithful K-9 companion “Princess”.

Mr. Grace is survived by his wife, Darlene C. Maners Grace of Edgewood, MD; his mother, Lillian Marie Jordan Kilby of Aberdeen, MD; two brothers, David Gerald Grace of Aberdeen, MD, and Ronald E. Grace of Port Deposit, MD; two sons, Scott B. Grace and his wife Cyndi, of Edgewood, MD, and Jeffrey A. Grace Sr. and his wife Melinda, of Bel Air, MD; one daughter, Carrie Ann Conte and her husband Nicholas, of Edgewood, MD; six grandchildren, Jenna M. Grace and Brittany N. Grace, both of Forest Hill, MD, Jeffrey A. Grace Jr., Elizabeth A. Grace, Amanda I. Conte and Rebecca L. Conte, all of Edgewood, MD.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Linda M. Ganal, and two grandchildren, Brandon S. Grace and Sarah Grace.
