William “Bill” J. Wynne, age 73, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Born in Media, Pennsylvania, he was the beloved son of the late Joseph Wynne and the late Elinor (Wilson) Wynne.

Bill was the devoted husband of Jean Margaret (Witmer) Wynne, with whom he shared 36 loving years of marriage. He is also survived by his sister, Joanne Lyons, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Bill was a lifetime member of Rose Tree fire Co. #73 in Media Pa since 1970. He was currently an active member of Bel Air Fire Co. #3 which he served positions of Sgt. Vice President and President over the last 27 years. He enjoyed spending his time boating, fishing, golfing, and reading. He was a passionate Philadelphia sports fan who especially loved the Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies, and was also a devoted Duke Basketball fan. Bill treasured the companionship of his beloved Labrador Retrievers, Duke and JJ.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 11th, at 11am at the Bel Air Fire Department.
