William “Bill” John Reuling, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, in Bel Air, Maryland. He was 82 years old.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Bill was the son of the late Melvin Urban Reuling and Mary D. (Ahern) Reuling. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved son, Brian Reuling; and his brother, John Reuling.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Adele Reuling (née Rebbel). The two would have celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on June 30. He is also survived by his loving son, Timothy Reuling, and his wife Christina; cherished grandchildren, Alexis Reuling, Karma Reuling, and Chloe, Sydney, Maya, And Finn Pantazelos; his dear sister, Mary Parks; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Cindy and Wally Clipper. He will be fondly remembered by his niece, Lauren Funk and her husband Kolby, and his nephew, Nicholas Clipper and his wife Candace, and great nephews, Grant and Henry Clipper.
Bill dedicated over 30 years of service to Towson University, where he retired in the early 2000s as Assistant to the Provost. Throughout his career, he held several impactful roles and was deeply respected by colleagues and students alike.
A man of wide-ranging interests, Bill had a deep appreciation for history, travel, and fine wine. He especially treasured quiet moments spent reading, cheering on Baltimore’s sports teams, and sharing life’s joys with his wife, Linda and his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Towson University in his memory.
He will be missed beyond measure and remembered always.
