William Edward Regester, age 95, of Joppa, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Samuel Regester and Helen Pauline (Kilian) Regester. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Regester Yuhl; and his brother, George Regester.

William was an avid boater and a member of the Power Squadron. He was also a longtime member of the Baltimore Yacht Club. In addition to his love of boating, he enjoyed gardening. In his later years, he served as a docent at the Martin Marietta Aviation Museum, where he enjoyed learning so much through his work.

William is survived by his daughter, Jane (Walter) Smith; his niece, Susan (Jim) Hively; great niece Kristen (Mark) Loscomb, great nephew Jon (Danielle) Hively, and great great nephews, Jordan Hively, Micah Loscomb and Carter Loscomb, and extended family members Amanda Colburn and John Von Dracek.
