William Alfred Ottewell

William Alfred Ottewell, age 77, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on October 21, 2023, at Brightview Avondell in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Michigan, he was the son of the late John and Hazel (Betteridge) Ottewell and husband of Cynthia (Mayers) Ottewell.  He earned his Pharm.D. and MBA from the University of Michigan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a pharmacist.  William went on to work as a pharmacist at the University of Michigan Hospital, later working at the VA Hospital in Allen Park, Michigan, and then the VA Hospital, Perry Point, Maryland.   

In addition to his wife, William is survived by his brother, John Ottewell, and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by their only child, Charles William Ottewell.
