William H. Hauver (Bill), passed away in Bel Air, Maryland, on July 2, 2026. He was 63 years old.

Bill was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland on December 18, 1962, and lived in Bel Air, Maryland for most of his life. After graduating from The John Carroll School, Bill attended St. Mary’s College where he graduated with a Degree in Political Science. After college, Bill followed in his father’s footsteps as a civil servant in the Department of the Army. Bill recently retired from the Department of the Army after a 35-year career.

While Bill enjoyed his professional life, his true passion came from his involvement with the Sovereign Grace Church at Abingdon. Bill joined Sovereign Grace Church shortly after college and he was a lifelong parishioner involved in numerous aspects of the church’s activities.

Bill is survived by his brother Bob and his wife Lyndall of Towson, Maryland, his nephew Tommy Hauver of Baltimore, Maryland and his niece Megan Peace and her husband Josh Peace of Atlanta, Georgia and his great niece and great nephew. He is preceded in death by his father, George Hauver, his mother, Elsie Hauver and his nephew, Will Hauver.

A service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at the Sovereign Grace Church in Abingdon on July 23rd at 2:00.
