William ''Ed'' Hart

July 12, 1941 — July 4, 2012

William "Ed" Hart, age 70, of Bel Air, MD passed away on July 4, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late William Lester and Ruth Phillips Hart. A 1960 graduate of Polytecnic High School in Baltimore, he was a member of Brehm's Boys Club and Barons Club in Baltimore. An avid sports supporter, he enjoyed playing golf, reading, crossword puzzles and movie trivia.

Mr. Hart is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janet L. Hart of Bel Air, MD; sons, Randall E. Hart of Bel Air, MD, Darren L. Hart of North Harford, MD, Matthew A. Hart of Havre de Grace, MD and Jeffrey A. Hart of Bel Air, MD; and grandchildren, Amanda, Alley, Jessica and Autumn Hart. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Margaret Everett and Mildred Packech.

Pallbearers will be Vernon Conroy, Denny Blemline, Bruce Pasco, Bill McDaniel, Calvin Brightman and Leo Matrisini.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Heart and Vascular Institute, Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation, 520 Upper Chesapeake Drive, Bel Air, MD 21014.
