William Raymond Carter, age 74, of Harford County, Maryland, passed away on December 26, 2023, in Yuma, Arizona. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, the beloved son of the late Raymond and Maurine Carter. 

William was a dedicated and compassionate individual who dedicated over 30 years of his life to serving the community as a Registered Nurse for the State of Maryland. A proud graduate of the John Carroll School and the University of Maryland, where he was a member of the fencing team, he made significant contributions to the healthcare profession, touching the lives of many through his caring and selfless work. 

In addition to his professional accomplishments, William was a man of many passions. He found joy and fulfillment in the great outdoors, embracing activities such as scuba diving, fishing, and hunting. These pursuits allowed him to connect with nature and create lasting memories with friends and family. 

William is survived by his sister, Judith Carter, and brother Robert Carter. 

William was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Maurine Carter, and his sister, Barbara Cook. May they all find eternal peace and reunite in a place of serenity.
