William Richard "Dick" Bittner

William Richard “Dick” Bittner, age 82, of Millsboro, Delaware, passed away on June 28, 2024. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late John and Grace (Brown) Bittner and the beloved husband of Rita (Voran) Bittner.

William was a devoted member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Hickory and a respected figure in his community. He is remembered for his deep faith, commitment to family, and kindness to all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rita, and his sons Stephen (Kelly) Bittner and Andrew V. (Mandy) Bittner. He was a proud grandfather to Rachel Bittner, Tyler Bittner, Gregory Bittner, and Colin Bittner. William also leaves behind his sisters, Frances Raab and Mary Carole Beers, and his brothers, Joseph Bittner and John F. Bittner, Jr.
