William "Bill" Roosevelt Johnson Jr.

Mr. William Roosevelt Johnson, Jr. was born on August 19, 1958 to William Roosevelt Johnson and Willie Mae Johnson who both preceded him in death.

He was a proud United States Air Force veteran and served many years at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia. After 17 years and one month of dedication, he retired from employment at Valdosta State University.

He was united in holy matrimony with Mrs. Gwendolyn Fulton Johnson. He was fun loving and enjoyed movies and watching western based shows. He loved sports, jazz music and old school classic songs. He also loved going back home to Baltimore every Christmas, going to the gym, lifting weights, reading books and wearing jerseys and sneakers. His favorite meal was mac and cheese, fried chicken and a coke on the side.

He passed from this earthly life on June 3, 2026. He was dearly loved and will forever be missed. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife

Gwendolyn Johnson; his daughter, Olivia Johnson; stepdaughters, Trina Neloms and Christina Neloms; grandchildren, Owen Washington and Omir Dasher; seven step grandsons and three step granddaughters; sisters, Karen Johnson and Mary Park; brother-in-law, Darren Park; niece, Mariah Park and nephew, Mason Park; and a host of cousins, other relatives, former co-workers and friends.
