William H. Bangledorf

On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, William “Bill” Bangledorf passed away at age 88, surrounded by his loving family in Pennsylvania. He lived in Edgewood, Maryland during his childhood with his parents, Anna and Andrew, as well as his sisters Elizabeth and Barbara and brother Robert until he entered the Army during high school. He married Ina Williams in 1960, and they were blessed with two daughters, Debbie and Karol, during their 65-year marriage.

In his career, Bill worked for Bond Bread, Koesters Bakery, and Schmidt Baking Company as a route salesman as well as Food Lion during his semi-retirement. He loved bowling, playing softball, gardening, and working in his garage. He was a life-long Orioles, Baltimore Colts, and Baltimore Ravens fan. One of his fondest memories in his youth was playing soccer with Cal Ripken, Sr.

Bill was lead usher at Trinity Lutheran Church for many years. He was blessed with many friends and is survived by his wife Ina, daughters Debbie and Karol, son-in-law Randy, three granddaughters Kalyn, Amelia, and Lauryn, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.
