William E. Anderson, Jr.

May 5, 1942 — October 17, 2025

William Everett Anderson JR, affectionately known to many as Biff, entered Heaven to meet his Savior peacefully on Friday October 17, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 5, 1942, to parents, William E. Anderson SR. and Louise (Mathaney) Anderson. Biff grew up in Baltimore and graduated from Poly Technical High School in 1960. At the age of 18, his family moved to Towson, where he worked part time for the family business, The Stebbing Company, while also attending and later graduating from the University of Baltimore with a bachelor’s degree in business management in 1964.

Biff was a proud member of the United States Army Reserve, where he served as a Military Police Officer.

Through the years he had many hobbies he enjoyed. He loved being outdoors. Most years he would grow a garden and go out every day to tend over and pick the vegetables. Cutting the grass was his favorite pastime as he would take his time riding around the property to make sure everything was just right. Biff also had many horses and dogs. As a member of the Beagle Hunt Club, he raised beagles and never sold one. Only wanted them to go to a good home free of charge. He enjoyed hunting deer, rabbit, geese and pheasant.

Biff and wife Mary Louise also enjoyed traveling to different places like, Disney World, Ocean City, Outer Banks, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Greece and Isreal.

As a man of faith and service to Jesus Christ, Biff taught for many years as Sunday School teacher for the junior high school boys. He also served on Trustee Boards, Personnel Committee, Awana leader, Usher and volunteered for the bus ministry. Over his lifetime he has been a member of Perry Hall Baptist Church, Calvary Baptist Church and most recently Oak Grove Baptist Church.

He enjoyed watching the Orioles and Ravens and coaching them from the comfort of his recliner. Summer never went by without there being a crab feast with family. Friends were often invited to cookouts and other parties held at their house. Mary Louise and Biff made their house a welcoming home for anyone.

Biff is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Mary Louise (Wilson) Anderson. Devoted daughter Melissa Karczeski and husband Bill. Loving Granddaughter’s, Mallory Neuberger and husband Ryan and Madison Karczeski. Also survived by two sisters in law, nephews, nieces and many friends.

Biff was proceeded in death by his beloved parents and his devoted son, Officer William E. Anderson III.

One of his favorite sayings was, you can never outgive the Lord. He and Mary Louise have been gracious givers to many organizations.
