William Adam Voelker

On January 24, 2014, William Adam Voelker, age 88, of Abingdon, MD passed away. He is the beloved husband of the late Ruth Marilyn (Doeller) Voelker, to whom he was married for 46 years. William is the devoted father of Carol B. Stoecker and son-in-law James A. Stoecker. Predeceased by his brothers Everett Voelker and Henry Voelker. Survived by his sisters Arlene Pate & Bertha Greulich, and sister in law JoAnn Voelker, as well as his brother Howard Voelker. William was an avid reader, graduated from Johns Hopkins University, and had a rewarding and well accomplished career with McCormick Spice Co. He was a lifelong member of United Evangelical Church of Christ and formerly served as a member of the church council.
