Wilfredo Rosas, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in Forest Hill, Maryland.

Born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Wenceslao Rosas-Irrizary and the late Carmen Maria Seda.

Wilfredo was the beloved husband of Carmen Maria Ramos-Troche, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage, celebrating this milestone on February 19, 2026. He was a devoted father to Elizabeth Rosas Barber and her husband Alan, and Diana Rosas (David). He was a loving grandfather to Lisa L. Barber, Alayna C. Barber, Cara D. Barber, and Derek W. Rosas, and a cherished great-grandfather to Kailee Rose Barber.

Wilfredo worked for many years in the housekeeping department at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He was formerly of Brooklyn and Puerto Rico before relocating to Harford County, Maryland in 2019.

He had a deep love for music and dancing, especially enjoying Zumba and dancing The Twist. He also loved singing, particularly the song "Yo Soy El Gallo" by Jose Miguel Class. Wilfredo was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and Mets, the Baltimore Orioles, the Aberdeen IronBirds, and the Indios de Mayagüez play baseball, as well as boxing. In Puerto Rico, many of his friends fondly knew him as "Junior."
