Walter M. Magness

Walter M. Magness, age 83, of Bel Air, MD, died on January 2, 2011 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Bel Air, MD, he was the son of the late William Harry and Clara Pennington Magness. A Master Plumber, he owned and operated Magness Plumbing from which he retired after 40 years. An avid fan of the Ravens and woodworking, he also enjoyed traveling.

Mr. Magness is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth S. Magness of Bel Air, MD; son, David M. Magness and wife, Patricia, of Bel Air, MD; daughters, Loretta M. Kromer and husband, Ron, of Sarasota, FL and Donna M. Nurse and husband, Martin S., of Street, MD; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Martin S. Nurse II, Justin M. Nurse, William Geasey, David M. Magness, Amy Magness, and Jennifer L. Winans.
