Walter ''Ben'' Bennett Bunger Jr.

Walter "Ben" Bennett Bunger Jr., age 85, of Edgewood, MD passed away on July 3, 2012 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Walter Bennett Bunger and Clara Louise Heck Bunger. A veteran of the Seabees, he served our country during WWII. He worked for ARMCO Steel as a lab technician and retired after 37 years. He enjoyed watching sports, especially hockey, and listening to jazz music and opera. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Bunger is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patsy E. Carter Bunger of Edgewood, MD; son, Ben Bunger III and wife, Monica, of Abingdon, MD; daughters, JoAnn Harrison and husband, Dan, of Arnold, MD and Mandy Lynn Bunger Reiss of Forest Hill, MD; grandchildren Erin, Amy, Chrissy, Kari, Ana, Gina, Anthony and Nicholas; and great-grandson, Jordan Bunn. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his great-grandson Ryan Laubach.
