Walter Alhimook

WALTER ALHIMOOK, age 79, of Joppa, MD, died on June 9, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Peter and Helen Rusinek Alhimook. A lifelong resident of Joppa, he worked at C. Curtis Morgan Company and was shop foreman, for 20 years, at Saco Supply. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing and was a member of the Waterman's Association.

Mr. Alhimook is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carrie M. Lyles Alhimook of Joppa, MD; a daughter, Gerry Spencer and her husband, Johnny, of Abingdon, MD; and a sister, Carolina Czombos of Youngstown, OH. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Alhimook.
