Virginia Corbin Ray

Virginia Corbin Ray, age 94, of Bradshaw, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2025, in Parkville, MD. She was born in Maryland and was the daughter of the late Raymond Corbin and Eva (Bartkowiak) Corbin. Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Ralph C. Ray, who preceded her in death.

Virginia dedicated 36 years of service as a Management Assistant at the Edgewood area of Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), retiring in 1986. She was known for her strong work ethic and commitment throughout her long career.

A woman of deep faith, Virginia was a lifetime member of Franklinville Presbyterian Church. Over the years, she faithfully served the church as an Elder, Deacon, and Trustee, and was actively involved in the Women’s Organization. In her personal time, she enjoyed crafts and traveling, hobbies that brought her great joy.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dale) Whippo; and her grandchild, Luke (Tina) Whippo.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society.

Virginia will be remembered for her devotion to family, faith, and community, and for a life defined by service, kindness, and quiet strength.
