Vincent Richard Stapleton

Vincent Richard Stapleton, age 79, of Bel Air, Maryland, formerly of Edgewood, passed away on November 11, 2022 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, Maryland. Born in Baltimore City, Maryland, he was the son of Thomas Iannicelli and Anna (Catano) Stapleton and husband of 46 years to the late Mary (Shanahan) Stapleton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, worked at General Motors on Broening Highway as a supervisor for the hard trim line and was owner operator of Vince’s Auto Glass in Edgewood for many years.

Vincent is survived by his sons, Joseph Patrick Dunnigan of Delta, PA and Vincent Christopher Stapleton of Baltimore City; daughters, Laura Lynn Dunnigan of Bel Air and Sandra McGarvey of Delta, PA; 7grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; brother, Frank Stapleton; and sister, Rosie Mullins.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Martinelli and brother, William Stapleton.
