Vincent Alfred Del Pizzo, Jr., age 63, of Fallston, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at The University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the loving and devoted husband of Nancy Del Pizzo (nee Failinger), with whom he shared 38 years of marriage and built a life rooted in love, dedication and family.
Vince was the proud father of Vincent and Olivia and cherished every moment with them. He loved spending time with his son, traveling with him for fan conventions and supporting his love of cars. His treasured time with Olivia included road trips, making homemade pasta and cheering on the Ravens together.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Leslie Del Pizzo (nee Dunn). He is survived by his wife; children; his father, Vincent Del Pizzo, Sr.; sisters, Lorrie Del Pizzo and Victoria Del Pizzo; sister-in-law, Melissa Annen, and her husband, Michael; niece, Ashley Annen; nephews, Tony Commodari, David and Victor Silwick; great-aunt, Mary Werner, and her husband, Chuck; as well as many other beloved family members and friends.
Vince was the owner and operator of Canton Ornamental Iron Works, a business he ran with pride and dedication. He was known for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship. Despite recent years of battling sickness and chemotherapy Vince’s dedication to work never waned. He remained a daily presence at work even on the hardest of days.
Vince had a deep love for his family. He enjoyed camping, fishing and various scouting activities through the years with both Vin and Liv and looked forward to time spent on family trips at the beach. He also took great pride in his cooking and enjoyed hosting Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas get-togethers.
Vince leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion and generosity, and he will be missed dearly by all who have the good fortune to have known him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him so deeply.
A celebration of Vince’s life will be held at McComas Funeral Home on a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Amyloidosis Foundation, amyloidosis.org.
