Umberto Donato Berardelli

Umberto Donato Berardelli, age 72, of Benson, VT, passed away on October 29, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late Dandolo Oscar and Frances Maldari Berardelli. He was employed as an Operations Manager for Caldor Department Store and was on both the Planning and Zoning Board and the Board of Appropriations and Taxation for Ansonia, CT. He also belonged to RAVE (Rutland Area Vehicle Enthusiasts) in Rutland, VT.

Mr. Berardelli is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bernadette E. Valinoti Berardelli; son, William J. Berardelli of Edgewood; daughters, Daniele G. Berardelli of El Paso, TX and Jennifer E. Hartshorn of West Haven, CT; sisters, Eva Berardelli of Niwot, CO, Diana Berardelli of Middletown, NJ and Antionette Berardelli of Princeton, NJ; and seven grandchildren.
