Tressie Maye Campbell

TRESSIE MAYE CAMPBELL, age 91, of Bel Air, Maryland, died at her residence on October 5, 2002. Born in Ashe County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Eugene W. and Dora Alice Blevins Barker. She was one of 12 children. She worked for Bata Shoe Company for 15 years. A resident of Harford County for 46 years, she enjoyed gardening, quilting, and sewing.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by one brother, Carl D. Campbell of Niota, Tennessee; one daughter, Elizabeth R. Burton of Bel Air, Maryland; five sisters, Bruxie Snider of Maryland, Ola Willis of Tennessee, Pauline Reedy of North Carolina, June Greer of Virginia, and Faye Cooper of Michigan; a brother, Mitchell Barker of Virginia; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Services were held in McComas Funeral Home, P.A. in Bel Air, Maryland on Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Allen R. Carter officiating. Interment was in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, Maryland.

Pallbearers were: Tony Tabasco, Cecil Tapscott, Larry Tapscott, Hank Rector, Ralph Snider and David Snider.
