Thomas Michael Schmidt

Thomas Michael Schmidt, age 73, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on February 18, 2023, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the husband of Gloria Schmidt, father of Kelly, Stephen and Jennifer, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He was also a dear friend of many. He leaves behind his dog and companion, Maggie Mae. 

Thomas and Gloria shared 30 years of marriage. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Nineth Infantry during the Vietnam War. Thomas always enjoyed his time spent golfing and boating. He was a proud member of AA, was a mentor for many and touched a lot of lives in his 33 years of sobriety.

He was preceded in death by father, Edward Schmidt, and mother, Betty Schmidt.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring or Summer.
