Thomas Buchanan

Thomas Buchanan, age 87, of Hydes, Maryland passed away on November 29, 2022 at his home. Born in Campsville, Kentucky, he was the son of Frederick and Evelyn Buchanan. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked as an instrument technician for BG&E. Thomas and his wife were also foster parents for 35 children, two of whom are active in their life currently, namely Anthony Harman and Charmaine Short-Caldwell.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kay Buchanan; son, Michael Buchanan; sisters, Betty-Gay Lowe and Jane Roution; and many nieces and nephews.
