Theresa Nelson

Theresa Nelson, 92, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on March 4, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born and raised in Ginsham Bavaria, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Johann and Maria Schwarm and wife of the late Ralph D. Nelson. Until the age of 83, she worked in the Commissary at both Edgewood Arsenal and then later at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by her son, Wolfgang Schwarm and wife, Eva, of Munich, Germany; daughters, Nancy N. Watson and husband, Tom, of Stafford, VA and Diana D. Connors and husband, Phil, of Havre de Grace; and grandchildren, Ross Watson, Zachary Watson and Jennifer McKinney.

Visitation will be held at McComas Funeral Home, P.A. in Abingdon, MD on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 10 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date.
