IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Terry
Marcavage
November 23, 1955 – February 1, 2026
Terry Marcavage, age 70, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
Born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, Terry was the beloved daughter of the late John Francis Williams and Theresa Elizabeth (Velinski) Williams. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Barry.
Terry was the devoted wife of Charles Lee Marcavage, with whom she shared 45 loving years of marriage. She is survived by her husband, Charles Marcavage; her cherished daughter, Lee Marcavage; and her sister, Janice Bicksler.
Formerly of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, Terry relocated to Maryland in September of 2018. She dedicated her professional life to advocating for healthcare workers. She retired in 2021 from PASNAP (Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals), where she served as a labor union representative representing nurses and healthcare professionals. Prior to her work with PASNAP, Terry was an officer with SEIU District 1199P, where she began her career as a representative. Before entering union leadership, she enjoyed a long and dedicated career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), working at multiple healthcare facilities throughout the Schuylkill County region of Pennsylvania.
Outside of her career, Terry found joy in reading, spending time at the beach, traveling, and experiencing the culture of every place she visited. She especially treasured time spent with her family and her beloved dog. A passionate sports fan, Terry loved attending Penn State football games and took great pride in watching her daughter perform with the Penn State “Blue Band.” She was also a proud shareholder of the Green Bay Packers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
