Susan Sobus Labarre

Susan Sobus LaBarre, age 78, of Conowingo, MD, passed away on September 26, 2013 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Frances Nowak Sobus. She served her country as a U.S. Marine where she was an Equestrian Instructor and then became one of the first police women in Baltimore City. A resident of Harford County for most of her life, she was always involved with horses. After raising her family, she became a Child Support Enforcement Officer for the State of Maryland working in Bel Air.

Ms. LaBarre is survived by her son, Bill LaBarre of Havre de Grace; and daughter, Holly LaBarre of Conowingo. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by eight siblings.
