Susan Ann Cohen

Susan Ann Cohen, 72, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025. Born in Baltimore, MD, Susan was the daughter of the late Bernard Cohen and the late Jean Agnes (Unger) Cohen.

Susan was the kindest person you could ever meet—loving, forgiving, and unfailingly selfless. She adored her family and friends and was known as the “Best Mom” and the best friend and confidante to her sisters. She gave unconditional love freely and always placed the happiness of others above her own. Susan enjoyed playing games such as pinochle and bingo and loved trying her luck with the lottery. She had a deep affection for animals, especially her beloved Yorkie, Max. Strong-willed, brave, and a true fighter, Susan touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard, and Jean Cohen; her sisters, Deborah Johnston, and Sheila Cohen; and her brother, Michael Cohen.

Susan is survived by her children: Ronald Linkous, Shawn Linkous, Laura (Jessica) Linkous, and Jean (Jessica) Piwovar and their children Addison and Ava; her grandson, River Wallace; her sisters, Sharon (James) Ramsey and Brenda (Pete) Maggitti, nieces and nephews, Missy, Bill, Shane, Crissy, Bonnie, Jamie, Frank, and Cory. Step granddaughter Mikayla and grandson River. Also survived by many other extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Harford County Humane Society or the Arthritis Foundation.
