Steven Thomas Bell

Steven T. Bell, Sr., (74), of Forest Hill, Maryland, passed away on July 19, 2023 at his home after a long illness. Fondly known as Steve, he was born in Fountain Green, Maryland, and the son of the late Conright and Dolly (Muller) Bell. He recently celebrated 53 years of marriage to his loving, devoted wife, Lilly M. (Beaman) Bell. 
 
Steve was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country during the Vietnam War.  As a Master Plumber, Steve owned and operated S&L Bell Plumbing & Heating until 1999, but was later reopened in 2014 by his son Steven, Jr.  Steve enjoyed spending time with his family, vegetable gardening, raising chickens, working on his antique cars, and serving the Lord.     

Despite Steve’s long illness, he never lost his sense of humor. Throughout his entire journey, he was known to crack jokes with his grown children and grandchildren. He had a great ability to make others smile and his sense of humor will be missed by all. 
  
In addition to his wife, Steve is survived by his daughter, Tammy R. Wescott (Brian Wescott); son, Steven T. Bell, Jr. (Melissa Bell); grandchildren, Dillon Wescott (Yve Wescott), Jacob Wescott (Natalie Wescott), Courtney Bell, and Connor Bell; great-grandson, Archer Wescott; and brother, Arthur Bell. 

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brothers, David Bell, and Jeffrey Bell.
