Stephen Howard Grant, age 73, of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2026.

Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Stephen was the beloved son of the late William Howard Grant and Helen (Mudd) Grant.

Stephen was a devoted member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was blessed to share 36 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Joan Grant. Their love story began on the dance floor, where they met dancing together. Throughout their marriage, they continued to enjoy dancing together at Snafu, creating many cherished memories.

Stephen was an avid bowler and enjoyed participating in the Mountain Christian Bowling League. He will be remembered as a kind and generous man who was an exceptional listener and conversationalist. His caring heart, thoughtful nature, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by his sons, Jeffery Grant, and Joseph Grant.
