Shirley Muffoletto, age 91, of Fallston, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Lewis Keefer and Lorraine Violet (York) Keefer.

Shirley was the proud owner and operator of Shirley Muffoletto Interiors in the Carney/Parkville area. Throughout her life, she was known for her kind spirit and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, gardening, celebrating Christmas, and traveling with her beloved Raymond “Gump” Embro, with whom she shared many wonderful years.

Shirley is survived by her son, Richard D. Ellis and his wife, Karen; grandchildren, Christopher D. Ellis and his wife, Mia, Brian C. Ellis and his wife, Jessica, and Kevin P. Ellis; great-grandchildren, Ava C. Ellis and Evelyn M. Ellis; and brother, John Keefer and his wife Fran.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Janet Ewing, Joan White, and Nancy Powers; and brothers, Raymond Keefer, Charles Keefer, and Richard Keefer.
