Sharon Lee Fradel, age 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026, in Washington, DC. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Joseph Meninger and the late Naomi (Beatty) Meninger. She was married to her late husband Jeffrey Fradel for 32 years.

Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed quilting, cake decorating, and floral designing. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and treasured the memories they made together.

Sharon was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Plitt.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Karwacki; son-in-law Greg; and grandchildren, Gregory Karwacki, III and Sophia Karwacki; brother, David Meninger; niece, Jennifer Plitt; and nephew, Tom Plitt.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Harford County.
