Scott Robert Mazziott, age 60, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2026, at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Scott was the beloved son of the late Robert Paul Mazziott and Cecilia (Serge) Stevens.

Scott was the devoted and loving husband of Kimberly D. Mazziott. The two were married on January 5, 2002, and built a beautiful life together. They truly did everything together, sharing a marriage filled with love, faith, laughter, and unwavering devotion. They never missed telling each other I love you after every call and every night before going to sleep. They truly shared a love that was "Always and Forever."

Family was Scott's entire world. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness, intelligence, humility, and generosity touched everyone who knew him. A man of deep Christian faith, Scott lived his life with a steadfast love of the Lord and found strength and purpose in the Him.

Scott proudly served his country in the United States Army and was deeply patriotic. Following his military service, he became an accomplished technical specialist and built an impressive professional career. His passion for electronics and technology led him to earn the respected title of Electronic Security Engineer with Mid Point Technology Group, an achievement of which he was immensely proud.

Although highly accomplished, Scott remained a humble man who never sought recognition or the spotlight. More often than not, he could be found behind the camera capturing precious family memories rather than appearing in the photographs himself.

A true child of the 1970s, Scott treasured memories of growing up playing outside with his cousins, who lived next door, and the neighborhood children. He shared an especially close bond with his sister Dianna, spending countless days riding their go-cart, swimming, and driving each other nuts. His younger sister Gina was much younger and he didn't get as much time together while they were growing up. He always carried a special place in his heart for Gina and cared so deeply for her. He always wished they had spent more time together. He graduated from Northern High School and carried those cherished childhood memories throughout his life.

Scott enjoyed camping adventures and RV trips with his family, creating countless memories with those he loved most. He was a dedicated sports fan. He loved the Ravens and the Orioles, and knew things and trivia about especially sports that left you say, "huh? How do you even know that?" His goal was to have his own "muscle car" that he could enjoy with Kim on the weekends. Above all else, he cherished being a husband, father, and grandfather. His love for his children was unconditional and chosen, and his grandchildren brought him immeasurable joy.

Scott shared a strong and special bond with his grandson, Grayson, who spent his entire life living with his grandparents. Grayson brought a smile to Scott's face every day, and there was nothing Scott would not do for him or for any member of his family. One of the many loving expressions Grayson will forever remember hearing was, "I love you with my whole heart more than anything in this world" PopPop and Nanny prayed with Grayson every night when he went to bed. That was a bond the 3 shared. In the past 3 years, everything he did was for his grandson Grayson. He was in the room when Grayson entered the world, and Grayson was there when Scott went home to be with the Lord. Kim will spend the rest of her life teaching her grandsons about Scott. Telling them everyday how much he loved them and looked forward to watching them grow. His Legacy will be what he poured into his grandsons whom his love was endless.

Scott is survived by his Cherished wife Kimberly Mazziott; sons, Michael Dorman and his wife, Kaitlynn; and Matthew Dorman and his wife, Savannah; his daughter, Emily Mazziott and her boyfriend, Andrew; his cherished grandchildren, Bennett, Blake, and Grayson Scott Mazziott; his sisters, Dianna Wilson and her husband, Victor, and Gina Anderson and her husband, Derek.: and his sister in law Elilzabeth Scott and her husband Steven. Also, many extended beloved family members, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, very special cousins and friends.
