Satwant Singh Chona
August 25, 1937 — March 18, 2024
Born in Bangkok, Thailand, he was the son of late Sundar Singh Chona and late Balwant Kaur Chona nee Bawa and loving husband of 64 years to Daljit Kaur Chona.
He was a well-achieved architect in the state of Maryland, Virginia, and several other states he found great purpose and reward in his work. He was proud of the distinguished structures he had designed throughout his career.
Satwant loved music, he enjoyed listening to everything from Indian music to alternative rock. He was very proud of his music collections that he had created over the years, in addition to music, he loved to travel the world with his wife. They traveled to various countries, but he always missed his beloved hometown Shimla. Above all he cherished his wife, Daljit whom he called Lado,
In addition to his wife, Satwant is survived by his two sons, Par Chona his wife Cindy Chona, and Sarge Chona his wife Binoo Chona; three grandchildren, Carmen Beier, Deven Chona, and Kuran Chona; two great grandchildren, Scarlett Chona and Krish Chona, He is also survived by many other loving extended family members.
