Sarah Virginia Brady

Sarah Virginia Carpenter Brady, age 80, of Winter Haven, FL and formerly of Joppa, MD died peacefully at her home on the morning of April 3, 2012. She was the loving wife of Willard Ray Brady, an active member of her church, nursing home volunteer, family matriarch, and personified the grace and poise of a true lady.

Born in Webster Springs, WV on February 3, 1932, Sarah Virginia was the daughter of Sampson Carpenter and Molena Jane Wilson Carpenter and a sibling of thirteen, including her surviving brother, Wilbert Carpenter. Ever the devoted mother to her children, Timothy L. Brady (deceased), Christina A. Magiske, Deborah E. Cochran, M. Annette McCready, Willard R. Brady, Jr., and Troy E. Brady, she is also survived by
eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren to whom she will forever be remembered fondly as MomMom.
