Sarah Anne Rose

November 26, 1935 — March 30, 2024

Sarah Anne Rose, age 88, a cherished resident of Edgewood, Maryland, peacefully passed away on March 30, 2024, surrounded by her children in the comfort of her home. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah Warren, and was preceded in death by her loving husband, of 56 years, Frank Rose Sr. Sarah was a devout member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, where her faith illuminated her life.
Sarah found joy in the simple pleasures of life, finding solace among her flowers and in her garden, where she cultivated beauty and serenity. A lover of all animals, she found peace in the company of her beloved pets that she always had by her side. Sarah's Irish heritage gave her the strength to be a strong maternal figure for her children and grandchildren. Her spirituality was a guiding force in her life, evidenced by her devotion to reading the Bible and her nightly ritual of watching and praying with Mother Teresa.
An avid reader, Sarah found great pleasure in the pages of books, enriching her mind with knowledge and wisdom. However, her greatest joy came from the love she shared with her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, whose greatest delight was spoiling her grandchildren. Whether it was cooking dinner or hosting cookouts, Sarah cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, creating beautiful memories that will be forever treasured.
Sarah is survived by her adoring sons, Frank Rose Jr., Daniel Rose, and Bryan Rose Sr., and her devoted daughter, Sally Trout. Her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association, a cause that held significance to Sarah's heart.
“May the sunshine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand, may the Lord bless you and keep you, may the Lord cause his face to shine upon you, and give you peace.”
