On Saturday, October 12, 2013, Samuel Gordon Thompson of Fallston, Maryland. Husband of the late LaVerne (nee Morseberger) Thompson; father of Debra Nease, Sharon Scarff, Nancy Offutt, Douglas Thompson, Craig Thompson; and brother of Margaret Grieves and Ruth Thompson. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 2-4 PM - 7-9 PM at the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road, Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. Funeral Service will be Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 10:00 AMat the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 3345 Charles Street, Fallston, Maryland 21047. Interment in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, 809 Rock Spring Road, Bel Air, Maryland 21014.
