Salvatore "Sal" Joseph Curreri, age 76, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on December 17, 2024. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Carmello and Rose Curreri and the beloved husband of 36 years to Karin Curreri.
Sal was a proud Baltimore City College Graduate. He honorably served his country in the United States Army for two years. After his service, he dedicated his career to Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE), where he retired as a Meter Reader. A proud veteran, Sal was a member of the American Legion in Aberdeen.
He cherished the outdoors and found joy in deer hunting, a tradition he faithfully upheld every Thanksgiving. Sal also loved traveling with Karin, creating countless memories together.
Sal is survived by his stepson, Michael (Alisha) Marchewka; his son, Samuel (Sally) Curreri; his daughter, Tina (David) Bernstein; and his grandchildren, Ashley Marchewka, Samantha Curreri, Lucy Bernstein, Antonio Curreri, and Vinci Curreri. He is also survived by his sister, Jacqueline Curran.
In addition to his parents, Sal was preceded in death by his brothers, Carmello Curreri and Andrew Curreri.
