Ruth Anna Krause

Ruth Anna Krause, age 79, of Churchville, Maryland passed peacefully on August 31, 2023, at her home in Harford County, Maryland. After a long battle with cancer, she passed surrounded by family. Ruth was born on December 29, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late James and Ethel (Herbert) McSorley and wife of the late George Krause. She married George on July 28, 1964, and lived in Churchville, Maryland from 1969 until her death. She was a hairdresser for over 50 years and continued to enjoy doing so until May 2023.

In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the beach, cooking, baking, gardening, and, most importantly, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ruth always thought of others before herself and would always leave a “little something” she made on your doorstep to remind you she was thinking of you and your family.
      
Ruth is survived by her sons, George Scott Krause, and Gregory Michael Krause; daughter, Shelly (Steve Boutilier) Hillebrand; daughter-in-law, Julie Krause; grandchildren, Colten Krause, Isabel Krause, and Madelyn Krause; sisters, Diana Arnett, Christine Snyder, and Jamie Kemp; brother-in-law, Howard Krause; and sister-in-law, Carol Krause.
