On Sunday, January 12, 2014 Ruth Gross Ward of White Hall, Maryland passed away. Wife of the late James A. Ward, mother of James R. Ward of Street, Maryland, and Stephen J. Ward of Airville, Pennsylvania. Grandmother of James R. Ward, Jr.; Justin Z. Ward; Joshua A. Ward. Great-grandmother of Sean P. Ward; Aiden T. Ward and Levi A. Ward. Sister of Billy Gross. Visitation will be held Thursday January 16, 2014 from 10-11 AM at the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road, Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. Funeral service will be held Thursday at the funeral home at 11:00 AM Interment in the Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery, 4135 Norrisville Road, White Hall, Maryland 21161. In lieu of flowers:
