Ruth Alt

Ruth Alt, age 79, of Bel Air, MD passed away on December 28, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Brushy Run, WV, she was the daughter of the late William Oga and Etta Olive Alt McGuinness and wife of the late Kermit Melvin Alt. She had worked at Bendix in Towson for 17 years as a radio assembler, General Motors for 5 years and Butcher's Market in Creswell as a manager for 8 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Corey.

Mrs. Alt is survived by her son, Jeffrey Alt and daughter-in-law, Renee Alt, all of Bel Air, MD; sisters, Mary E. Pennington of Scherr, WV and Patsy M. Lawson of Dundalk, MD; and grandson, Corey Kevin Alt of Bel Air, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Melvin, James, Lowell and Arthur McGuinness and sister, Evelyn Kimble.
