Russell William Diegert

Russell William Diegert, age 72, of Conowingo, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at home.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Russell was the son of the late Raymond Diegert, Sr. and Margaret (Zealor) Diegert.

Russell, affectionately known to family and friends as “Russ” or “Rusty,” was married to Patricia Diegert (Baxter).

In addition to his wife, Russell is survived by Diana Diegert, his children, Carrie (Shawn) Hollaway, Nicole Diegert, Nathan Metz & Hannah (Dakota) Dunman; his grandchildren, Jaydn, Adalyn, Kaisen, Landon, Hailey, Grace, Logan, Eleanor, and Maverick; his brothers, Raymond Diegert and Randy Robinson; and his sister, Doris Neal.

Russell had a deep love for animals, especially horses, and he truly enjoyed helping others whenever he could.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Russell’s memory to the Humane Society of Harford County.
