Ruby Tibbs Mcconnell

Ruby McConnell, age 94, of Edgewood, passed away on August 26, 2017 at 11:15 pm. She was the daughter of Clyde and Laura Waddell Tibbs. She was married to L.C. McConnell, deceased. She traveled to many places while her husband was in the Army. She loved being outdoors and could grow mostly anything. Also, she loved going to the slots.

She is survived by daughter, Beverly Keener, Edgewood; her grandson, Robert Keener, Edgewood; her brother, Harry Tibbs, Joppa; her sister, Freda Compton, Joppa; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her brother, Henry Tibbs; and sisters, Irene Greer, Mildred Riley, and Barbara Alvarado.
