Roxanne Frances Fox, age 72, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Frank Gordon Snelson and Nancy R. (Miller) Snelson.

Roxanne dedicated 54 years of her life to her career as a hairdresser, a profession she truly loved. She worked in Bel Air and at Oak Crest, where she shared her talent and passion for making others feel their best.

Roxanne had a special love for cats, especially her beloved Smokey and Cali. She often fed the cats in her neighborhood and went out of her way to care for them. She also loved visiting the beach, particularly Ocean City, Rehoboth Beach, and Myrtle Beach.

Above all, Roxanne cherished being a grandmother. Her granddaughter, Ashlee Petersen, was one of her greatest joys, and the time they shared held a special place in her heart.

Roxanne is survived by her son, Erik Petersen and his wife, Mary; and her beloved granddaughter, Ashlee Petersen.
