Rosemarie Huffman

Rosemarie “Rose” Huffman, age 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Rose lived a long full life defined by kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

She was a beloved mother to five children, Carol Outlaw, Judith (Darlene) Griffith, Peggy Heimberger, Suzanne Griffith, and Christopher (Karen) Griffith, all of whom survive her and carry on her legacy. Rose was also a cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren, Jennifer Outlaw, Pamela Scripture, Ashley Lincoln, Rebecca Fishel, Tyler Griffith, Zachary Griffith, and Hannah Henderson, and great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy.

Rose is survived by her sister, Leona Napolillo, and brother, George Knoerlein. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Huffman, her father George Knoerlein, and her mother Josephine Knoerlein.

Rose was an avid reader and for many years enjoyed gardening, the beach and collecting seashells. Above all her family was most important to her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 4, 2025, at 11:00 am at Portside North 11131 Pulaski Hwy. White Marsh, Md. 21162

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
