Rosemarie Ann Garrett, age 82, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away on May 15, 2024, at Franklin Square Hospital in Rosedale, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Rose (Luben) Bratcher and the beloved wife of the late Rolfe Allen Garrett, Sr.

Rosemarie was a devoted mother and grandmother who found joy in sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children: sons, Rolfe Allen (Robyn) Garrett, Jr., Richard Allen Garrett, Raymond Allen (Vickie) Garrett, and Rodney Allen Garrett, Sr.; daughters, Robin (Tim) Poling and Ramona Ann (Bob) Poderis; and her sister, Linda Bratcher. She was also a cherished grandmother to April Rose Finck, Allan Michael Ogle, Richard Allen Garrett, II, Rodney Allen Garrett, Jr., Raymond Allen Spencer Garrett, Gordon Allen Wesley Garrett, Wayne Ruthkie, and Megan Ruthkie, and a proud great-grandmother to Aubrey Dawn Poling, Timberlynn Nash Poling, Micky Howard Finck, Easton Timothy Ogle, Colton Oliver Ogle, and Hadley Rose Garrett.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemarie was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Vavrek, and her grandson, Timothy Allen Poling, Jr.

Rosemarie's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, P.O. Box 418629, Boston, MA 02241, in her memory.
