Rose Pulitano Luca, 86, of Bel Air, MD passed away on January 21, 2015 at her home. Born in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agatha Gullace Pulitano and wife of the late Ralph Luca. She had worked for Sears & Roebuck and the Lord Baltimore Hotel prior to getting married in 1953 at the Vatican in Rome, Italy. She previously was a parishioner at St. Thomas More Catholic Church for over 50 years, prior to moving to Bel Air in 2008 and then becoming a parishioner of St. Margaret Catholic Church. A wonderful Italian cook, who also loved all sports, especially coaching duckpin bowling and those where she could cheer her sons. She was very religious and devoted to her family.
Mrs. Luca is survived by her sons, Paul J. Luca of Bel Air, Ralph F. Luca and wife, Nancy, of Hawaii, Stephen D. Luca of Glyndon; brother, Frank Pulitano and wife, Connie, of Towson; brother-in-law, Dominic Luca and wife, Elizabeth, of Baltimore; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Joseph A. Luca.
