Rose Mary Lewis

Rose Mary (Rosie) Lewis, 87, passed away 10/29/2025 at Forest Hill Heights.

Rosie was born and raised in Fallston, MD. After graduating from Bel Air High School in 1956, she married Donald Lewis, also of Fallston. They were married for 66 years. Rosie loved singing hymns and Alan Jackson’s Hymn CD was a big favorite. She loved being outside and could often be found working in her yard or vegetable garden. She loved to walk and ride her bike and thought nothing of riding and/or walking a couple miles every day. She enjoyed cooking and was known for her green beans, which was often requested at family gatherings. She loved ice cream and would serve it with pie, cookies or brownies.

Rosie is survived by her children Tim (Ada), Tom (Cathy) and Vicki; 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Gertie (Ted), Margie (Glen), Ruthie, Sarah (Doug) and Gloria (Phil), sisters-in-law Ann and Eleanor (Bob). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Don; siblings Lorraine, Junior, Roy (Ruth), brother-in-law Terry, Suzie (Jack) and brother-in-law David. Also grandchildren Dane and Natalie.

She was a longtime member of Fellowship Chapel.

Viewing will be held at Fellowship Chapel, 3821 Federal Hill Rd, Jarrettsville MD on 11/01/2025 at 10:00 followed by the funeral at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
