Ronald Lee Coleman, age 75, of Churchville, Maryland, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, January 23, 2026.

Ronald was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was the son of Clarence Elbert Coleman, who preceded him in death, and Betty Lou (Jones) Coleman, who survives him. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Coleman, Jr.

Ronald is survived by two sons, Justin (Alexis) and Brent (Autumn); and his brother, Richard Coleman.

He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Dylan, Levi, Imaris, Ethan, Lila, Camryn, Danika, Charlotte, Liliana, Gage, and Jaxon.

Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a Navy veteran who served as a Radioman aboard the very first nuclear-converted submarine, the USS George Washington—a role he took great pride in throughout his life. He was a retired Aeronautics Engineer.

In his personal life, Ronald was a talented woodworker and an avid antique collector. As well as a motorcycle enthusiast who cherished riding his Harley-Davidsons. After retiring, he poured his passion into cultivating an extensive organic vegetable garden, supplying fresh produce to local restaurants around the “Mountains of Churchville”.
